Come join us for our Lions Australia TV Commercial this Sunday January  20 at Shepherds Hill, King Edward Park, Newcastle NSW.

The commercial is for Lions Australia – Two More Hands recruitment campaign.

Filming begins at 9.30am and will finish at 11am

At 11 am Lions Australia are providing a gold coin donation BBQ where all profits will go to support all those affected by last weeks Tasmanian Bush Fires.

But first here is the concept for the commercial:
Lions Australia is holding a fundraiser event for Medical Research. The fundraiser is Hang Gliding. Once the Lions members finish setting up three hang gliders they put up a sign which says “fundraiser for medical research”. The actors then look up and to their surprise there is a sea of people standing before them, holding up cash, ready to support the Lions cause.

TWO MORE HANDS is a media campaign for Lions Australia. The campaign will be released nationally in April 2013. It  will promote what Lions Australia do for communities locally, nationally and overseas; our aim is to also entice people to join a Lions club and help support local communities.  To find out more about Lions Australia, be part of the TV commercial, have fun and get your self a sausage!

Location: Shepherds Hill (the grassy slope between The Terrace and York Drive at the top entrance to King Edward Park, Newcastle.

Parking available at The Terrace, The Hill, Newcastle

Please wear casual summer clothes suitable for a day in the park (no branded garments please).

Bring with you a $20 note to hold in the air (Monopoly money is ok)

Please be mindful of the weather and bring sunscreen, a hat, and a bottle of water.
