the brief

Produce a video to increase funds raised by the ALCCRF (Australian Lions Childhood Cancer Research Foundation) from $500K to $1M PA. The film must be inspirational and promote the fact that ALCCRF is working with top medical experts to achieve a 100% cure rate for childhood cancer.

our approach

To produce an inspirational film we decided to tell the story of little Ava and her father Tony. Ava was diagnosed with cancer at 6 months of age. Now, 2 years on, she is in full remission. This story of survival is inspiring because Ava’s story is not unique – more and more children are surviving cancer and this is due to medical research. ALCCRF are working with Australia’s top medical experts to achieve a 100% cure rate for childhood cancer. For this film, we combined Ava’s personal story with information from medical experts and the foundation’s spokespeople. We are proud of this video as it is a small piece of inspiration for those struggling with a terminal disease.
