medical training video in production

By Gavin Banks

TELEHEALTH is a device similar to Skype where doctors communicate with remote patients on secure lines. We are currently in Townsville filming interviews at the local Hospital. Tomorrow we fly to Mt Isa where we will meet and interview a remote patient. Mt Isa will be the first of two remote sites where patients are interviewed to inform us how the medical-communication technology works in treating health conditions. Interviews with doctors and remote patients will be cut together to create a series of educational videos to train health professionals in Australia and abroad. This video is in production thanks to The Cancer Institute NSW, University of NSW,and the Prince of Wales Clinical School: Psychosocial Research Group.
