Brief:

Create a 30 second version TV Commercial from the 60 sec Red Shield Appeal Community Service Announcement (CSA), while keeping as much of the original narrative as possible. 

Approach:

To produce this nation wide TV commercial, we worked with the in-house director and Marketing Manager at The Salvation Army to develop the concept. We filmed across Australia to show the scope of work the Salvos do for 'those who need it most'. Technically, in the edit for this commercial cut-down, we started by looking at how long the essential voice messages required and worked backwards from there. We using visual overlay to extend the message as much as possible.
