Challenge:

Produce a 60 -90 second film to open the Link Group 2016 AGM. The film needs to be an audio-visual feast. It will feature the best of the corporate footage produced by Good Eye Deer for the last four Link Group films, as well as key statistics (from the latest annual report), and international stock footage (to represent Link Groups International scope).
The film must work as a stand-alone piece. There will be no narration so the narrative needs be created by the images and words on screen.

Solution:

We chose to build on the sophistication and style of the last two Link Group ASFA films. Working with footage from previous corporate video production projects we developed a fast editing pace to show the images in a new light. We made use of match frames, ramping and invisible cuts to create a clever cut full of energy.

A new addition to this mix was the inclusion of key messaging and statistics via some dynamic, stand-alone motion graphics. We used the latest Link Group branding to create a series of animated graphics to punctuate the live-action footage and create a clear message - that Link Group is a leader in its field.

The sound track was chosen for it's fun but sophisticated 'money' feel.
