goodeyedeer goes 35mm on HD

Award winning director, Azita Damanda, and goodeyedeer's Gavin Banks joined forces to create the 5min short Lullaby, which will be starting the festival circuit early next month.

The series of stills to the right show a few scenes from the film that was shot using the new HD / 35mm lens combination acquired in Sept '08.

"This has been a fantastic opportunity to test the capabilities of the system for use in drama", said Gavin Banks, DP and director of goodeyedeer. "Everyone who sees the images are astounded by how good they look. These tools make accessible a new range of possibilities not before available to independent filmmakers shooting video".

Two commercial projects, (the new series of SIR WATER TVC's and THE 8 part ROAD REALITIES SERIES for PCYC) have already been shot using the XDCAM / LETUS setup with excellent results.

Gavin will be using the same setup when DP on the independent feature film BATHING FRANKY for 76 PICTURES later this year.
